Clubhouse Cottage in Lacock is family run, in a great location in the Village. The accommodation is over 75 square metres (800 square feet) and comprises open plan living/dining/kitchen, one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower above. Whilst not specifically adapted for accessibility, all accommodation is on the ground floor with 2 steps at the entrance.

Parking can be difficult in this historic and popular village, but no problem, just leave your car in our private car park and its just a 2 minute walk to the centre of the village with Lacock Abbey, pubs and the Sign of the Angel restaurant. Parking is for a maximum of 2 cars.
The Cottage has underfloor heating throughout and whole dwelling MVHR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery). This supplies and extracts air at a low rate and is automatically boosted as required when facilities are used. This means that the building is continuously supplied with fresh air from outside, tempered and filtered by the system – making for a comfortable home environment, whilst doing its bit for the planet.

We are in quiet, easily accessible location near the centre of the historic National Trust village of Lacock; the home of Lacock Abbey and the Fox Talbot museum of Photography. No need to use your car, it’s just a 2 minute walk to the village pubs and the Sign of the Angel restaurant. Many will recognise Lacock Village as the film setting for Pride and Prejudice, Cranford, Harry Potter and last but not least, Downton Abbey.
The Local Area
Local places to visit include, Castle Coombe, Avebury, Bath, Bradford on Avon, Bowood and Devizes (with the impressive Caen Hill locks) on the Kennet and Avon Canal. Stonehenge is a delightful 27 mile drive across Salisbury Plain and Stourhead 29 miles away, both perfect for a day out.
